A warm golden kiss
From the setting autumn's sun
Tickles colors from the shadows
On a blushing landscapes run
Proudly embarrassed
At it's own magnificence
A brilliant change from green
A most glowing smile
Which I joyfully accept and make my own
Then seemingly over night
The colors turn in a chilling finale
As a lonely train whistle
Echoes the river valley
The wind teases the boughs
Dancing away with the leaves
Until they've all gone home
In a frigid white cocoon
