Snow Shoveling

Shoveling snow is so hard it reeks,
and you know its going to hurt.
Especially when the snow thrower breaks,
and the way it could have been,
beats you like a quirt.
But you buckle down,
giving the job all it takes.
And as you look back,
panting, at the job you've done.
It starts to snow again,
when you thought you had it won.
The mere thought of it all,
bringing more color to your cheeks.
And you shout out loud, " Shoveling really reeks! "
